Second,  Michigan PA 146 of 2008 went into effect in May 2008.  This public act pertains to Private Investigators.  You can download the entire act from the Forms page for more information.

Third,  the Bureau of Fire Services has changed the FM-64 for to the BFS-064.  This form can also be downloaded from the Forms page.  The BFS has also informed us that there is no longer a need to forward the Michigan State Police of the BFS a copy of the form.

Fourth,  the Department of Justice has a guide available for Electronic Crime Scene Evidence.  This may be helpful for gathering electronic evidence at fire scenes.  The Guide is also on the Forms page.
