2009 MAPC Vehicle School

This years school was a great success.  Thank you Walt and all of your crew.  There were about 150 students present yesterday.  The rain stopped just before class and held off for the rest of the day.  This year was more that just cars.  There was a snow mobile, jet ski, rv, cars and two cars inside of a garage.

Thanks again to everyone that made this happen.  It was a great experience and we all look forward to next years class.

There is a new page added - Michigan Auto Arson.  This page provides information on PA 413.  There are several forms on this page ranging from who is participating and how to enroll.  Please take a minute and see if your community is participating and if you are elegible to enroll.

2009 Michigan Arson School

This year's school was a big success.  The week began with a beautiful day to golf at Buck's Run.  The course was in great shape and it was a fun day for all.  The school was full of great speakers and was well attended.

The Annual Meeting was held Thursday afternoon.  John Hager was newly elected to the Board along with returning members, James Maxwell, James Tuller, Andrew Walker and Richard Ripke.  Congratulations to all.  The membership also voted and set a cut-off date for the mailing of the Arson News.  In an effort to save the Chapter money,  the Arson News will begin it's electronic format January 2010.  We have gathered about half of the member's email addresses.  If you have not signed up, and wish to recieve the new Arson News, you must send us your email address.  Our email address has changed (with the new web site) it is now michiganiaai@yahoo.com

Passing the gavel. Rocky Papalia and Gary Leirstein. The banquet was also held Thursday evening.  Several awards were given out.  It was a very busy week and we are all looking forward to next year's school.  The Golf outing will be on May 10, 2009 and the School will follow May 11 - 14, 2009.
